got my game face back on

having chewed off almost all my nails; i am glad to report another victory over the buffalo sabres. despite the frustrating referee-ing and the cheap shots from briere - schaefer, phillips, heatley and vermette buried the puck very nicely. the team spirit and full-time effort finally paid off.

repetition preferable. very much so.

note: this is not really a hockey blog - but other than a hockey victory i only have history of economic theory, japanese history or econometrics to report on ... and trust me: not that exciting.

on a side note: i was just listening to the post-game show, and some guy called in with some stats. last year the senators were leading the conference with 16-3, as stanley cup favourites; two of their losses were from the carolina hurricanes - the stanley cup champions. at this point the buffalo sabres are a stanley cup favourite with a 16-3 record; with two losses from the ottawa senators - maybe this years' stanley cup champions ... just a thought to share.
